Join FoLAR, California Native Plant Society, and San Fernando Valley Audubon Society for a fun-filled morning of habitat restoration at the Sepulveda Basin Wildlife Reserve! With the help of CNPS, volunteers will remove invasive plants like mustard weed and learn about the importance of restoring Southern California’s native habitat. After weeding, participants join the SFV Audubon Society on a nature walk around the reserve, seeing many of the 200+ bird species that frequent the reserve through the binoculars provided. Monthly habitat restoration with FoLAR occurs every fourth Saturday from 8am-11am, and volunteers may sign up through our linked Eventbrite page.
