Pacoima Beautiful is a grassroots environmental justice organization that provides education, impacts local policy, and supports local arts and culture in order to promote a healthy and sustainable San Fernando Valley.
To improve personal and community health and wellness within the African community by: increasing the availability of culturally-relevant physical and mental health services; providing education to reduce the stigma of physical and mental illness among African people; and facilitating social justice through advocacy.
Our mission is to provide the tools and resources that enable individuals with Down syndrome to be fully included.
We work with charities, artists, storytellers and sponsors in order to create the most impactful version of their stories and help get them out into the world. This output includes, but is not limited to, scripted and unscripted television, narrative and documentary films, print, web, radio and live events.
