To help abandoned domestic rabbits by promoting spay and neuter, providing education on their care, volunteering in shelters and humane societies, and by fostering and rehabilitating rescued rabbits until such time as suitable permanent homes can be found.

SWI’s purpose is to assist people of all ages and cultures in developing an awareness of and commitment to nature that will result in informed decisions and constructive actions concerning wildlife and our environment.

To rescue at-risk animals who are homeless or have been abandoned and are in need of medical care.

We are getting veterinarians to the front lines of the animal welfare movement; promoting responsible pet ownership, supporting animal protection policies, helping the disaster relief effort and eradicating infectious diseases such as distemper.

Our mission is to provide a home for animals that cannot be returned to their native habitats.
