More than 1,000 Hygiene Kits and 780 Books Donated for Children in Need

At Assistance League of Los Angeles we are continuing our 100-year legacy of helping children in our community. Due to COVID-19, thousands of low-income LA families are experiencing even greater hardships and need our support more than ever.

This morning our team loaded up the Operation School Bell van with 1,145 hygiene kits, each containing soap, shampoo, a hairbrush, a toothbrush and toothpaste to be distributed to families living in shelters via our partners at School on Wheels. We also delivered 780 chapter books (courtesy of Simon & Schuster). We are in this together, LA!
